Along the long driveway and through the courtyard, with beautiful views from every angle, step through the large stable door into a generous open-plan living and dining area. Grand in outlook as well as space, it is in Horse and Carriage that the group will gather together.

Cook up a feast in the well-equipped kitchen, with everything you could need to make your stay a relaxing one. The dining area comfortably seats up to 10 privileged guests; the perfect setting for laid-back brunches, celebratory dinner parties, or simply spending time as a family.

The sumptuous corner sofa was made for retiring to and admiring the views of the stunning private gardens with hot tub. Relax in front of the large smart TV, or pull open the floor-to-ceiling doors out to the patio beyond for some al fresco dining.

With many modern features, such as the bespoke floating staircase, yet the heritage of this Grade II listed building is in evidence. Exposed brickwork, expert craftsmanship and a contemporary colour palette pair perfectly with distinctive fabrics and carefully curated artwork by local artist David Stead throughout.

After all of the fun, two lucky couples can retire in peace through the connecting door at Riding Boots. Here is a second smaller kitchen and living area with a stylish breakfast bar and a comfortable sofa for a morning coffee while planning your days adventure.

It will be hard to tear yourself away from any of the five bedrooms, each beautifully appointed with designer fabrics from Kit Kemp and handmade lampshades. Enjoy long lie-ins swathed in the luxurious bedlinen, then roll into your Bagno-design boutique bathroom, each en-suite. With eye-catching tiles, double sinks, and spacious roll-top bath or walk-in shower, the bathrooms are thoughtfully designed, and fully stocked with Noble Isle toiletries.

The two spacious ground-floor bedrooms feature super-king-sized beds which can be split into twins. Up the custom-design floating staircase imported from Italy, you will find three more stylish bedrooms. Each has unique designs and impressive headboards to match.

The majestic master bedroom is a show-stopper, with exposed oak beams, a vaulted ceiling, a large shower and a free-standing bathtub for two sitting in the centre of the bathroom. From here are views over the extensive gardens, the perfect place to soak away after a day's adventure.

Outside

Experience country living mixed with city life from your very own luxury holiday home. The private gardens are complete with an outdoor table tennis table, and a picturesque alfresco dining area. Fire up the barbecue and watch the sun set over the surrounding grounds. In the courtyard is an outdoor table and chairs - just perfect for a morning coffee.

An impressive hot tub crafted from cedar wood sits at the back of the house alongside an outdoor shower.

Practicalities

Arrive to a locally sourced welcome hamper. The modern kitchen has a fridge freezer, dishwasher and electric oven, and is well-equipped for a luxury self-catering holiday home. Underfloor heating throughout keeps you cosy year-round, and the wi-fi allows for home working.

The property includes high-quality bed linen, towels, bathrobes, and a selection of Noble Isle toiletries. No cot or highchair is included. The washing machine and tumble dryer sit in the ground floor bathroom. There is a starter pack of products included under the kitchen sink and for the laundry.

Please note the house sleeps up to 10 guests plus a babe-in-arms. Larger groups or those looking to invite guests in the daytime should get in touch before booking.

Perfect for guests looking for a holiday cottage with EV charging, there is a rapid Tesla charging point mounted on the garage for guests staying at Unbridled. Charging costs 45 p/kWh via a smart card which is available on request on arrival.

Unbridled is set back from the road along a long private driveway. There is plenty of off-street parking. The large garden wraps around the house, though please note it is not enclosed.

Up one step, enter the large open plan dining area and kitchen. Large bi-fold doors open to the outdoor dining area. On the other side of the house is a second small kitchen with a breakfast bar. The ground floor of the house is all on one level except for one step in from outside, making this well-suited to guests with reduced mobility.

There are two ground floor bedrooms, each with an adjoining bathroom. Both bedrooms can be set with twin beds or as a super-king bed. Upstairs are three bedrooms, each with a fixed super-king bed. Two include impressive en-suite bathrooms with a large bath tub and walk in shower. Bedroom 5 includes an en-suite shower room.

There is a hidden washer and dryer with space for boots and hanging coats in one ground floor bathroom/cloakroom. Please note families will need to bring their own cot and highchair. The property is suitable for 1 -2 infants.

In The Area

The prime location of this boutique bolthole in North Yorkshire puts it in striking distance of Ripon’s centre, only a ten-minute walk away. This cathedral city has a thriving market place, an array of independent shops and a wide choice of restaurants, pubs and bars. Spend a day exploring the beautiful Studley Royal Water Gardens in the grounds of Fountains Abbey on ther outskirts of Ripon. Close by are more family friendly attractions near Ripon, such as Lightwater Valley, Newby Hall, Ripon Races, Ripon Workhouse Museum (perfect for a rainy day), and the glorious Ripon Cathedral.

Enjoy breakfast at Oliver’s Pantry, before a riverside ramble into the market square (market day is Thursday and Sunday, and not to be missed!) for a spot of independent shopping. Try tapas from Manchega’s, or a slice of homemade cake from Realitea. A Sunday roast is done best at The Storehouse, and try to book an evening slot so you can sample their cocktails too!
